pete demos 68 chevy camaro ss
Local drag racing legend Pete Demos has been blazing the 1/4 mile for over 45 years. Since the early days at U.S. 30 he has been a fierce competitor, running 10:80’s with a manual shift “street car” when the pro-stock guys were running 10:60’s with their full blown race cars. Pete is the father of the Chicago Wiseguys and has been our president and leader since inception. Pete is a 2 time Chicago Wiseguys champion and came within a half a point of making it 3 last season. Pete’s personal best ET is 6:57 @ 215 mph and with a little help from our new engine builder Billy Albert Race Engines we hope to improve on the number for the 2015 season.
